What are ‘cookies and similar technologies’? What are web beacons and how does VivuEsim use them? Websites and HTML emails may contain a small piece of code called a web beacon. Web beacons allow a website to transfer or collect information through a request for a graphical image. VivuEsim may use web beacons—similar to cookies—for a range of purposes, including analyzing website usage, auditing and reporting for advertising, and personalizing content and advertising.
Can you manage web beacons? Each browser provides users with settings that can be used to prevent the automatic download of images, pixels, beacons, or other tracking technologies. If you want to prevent your browser from communicating directly with email senders, you can configure your browser settings to do so.
